18 Tools for Designers & Bloggers

I’m always sharing what tools are useful to me via Twitter, but just incase you don’t use it – I wanted to share here! I always get asked what productivity tools and apps I use on a regular basis and I pretty much open all of these everyday. There are a few apps that are similar in type because some may be all in one tools or I’m just starting to use one more than the other. Check these out, they are ones I would recommend to a designer/blogger/creative type.

Communication Tools

Yammer

Connect and share with the people in your company or organization. It’s like twitter but for companies. Anyone in a company can start their Yammer network and begin inviting colleagues. The privacy of each network is ensured by limiting access to those with a valid company email address.

Skype

Free calls, video calls and instant messaging over the internet.

 

Tweet Deck

TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application for twitter.

WordPress Introducing WordPress.tv

WordPress introducing new flavored screencast – wordpress.tv, It includes videos and WordCamp presentations and a lot more. It provides all the necessary visual aids for the wordpress. They have tutorials for lots of things in wordpress like posting and publishing a post, Customizing wordpress themes and a lot more there…

They also initiated to welcome all the contributions from the users part also. If you are guru in wordpress, you can submit the screencast of your hacks, tips and tricks.
